Website and inquiry privacy notice
This notice explains how FineFix Contracting handles information submitted through finefix.co and finefix.ca.
What we collect
When you send a project inquiry, we collect the contact and project details you enter, the files you choose to upload, technical information needed to protect the form from misuse, and a generated inquiry record that summarizes your submission.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to review the potential project, contact you about it, protect the submission process, and retain a record of the inquiry and response. We do not use the inquiry form to enroll you in marketing messages.
Where it is stored
Inquiry records and accepted attachments are stored in the authenticated FineFix Documents area. Access is limited to FineFix administrators and FineFix project managers who have been given access to the internal Inquiries location.
File safety checks
Uploaded files are checked for malware before they are made available to our team. A file that fails or cannot complete that check is held in quarantine and is not made available as a document.
Retention
Completed inquiry records and accepted attachments may be retained indefinitely as part of FineFix business records. Records for incomplete submissions, including those kept to avoid processing a retried submission twice, expire after one year. FineFix may delete records manually when they are no longer needed.
Analytics and cookies
Optional analytics help us understand how the public site is used. They load only after you consent. We do not send inquiry values, filenames, inquiry identifiers, document metadata, form text, or uploaded files to analytics. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer.
Your choices
You can ask what inquiry information we hold about you or request deletion, subject to legal and business record requirements. Email info@finefix.ca and include enough information for us to identify the inquiry.
